I thought I will never survive through the month of March.
But hey, look! It's April already, and soon it will be May.
And it's all thanks to God, who indeed had been with me all the way,
guiding me through and granting the strength that i need.
Now i know for sure,
that whatever obstacles and challenges that may come my way,
it doesn't matter at all.
Cause God will be with me to go through it together!
All I have to do is to take that step of faith, and depend on Him,
to trust Him with all my heart and acknowledge that He is my God!
Mission trips may seem scary and dunno-what-to-expect,
worse still, if I'm going to be a missionary in a land where food and water are scarce.
But God has promised that He knows my needs and He will take care of me,
so there's nothing I have to be worried about or scared about!
LOVE OVERCOMES ALL FEARS.

Proverbs 3: 5-6
is still my favourite verse ever.
I thought I had long captured the essence of it,
but God is showing me new insights into this verse each day.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and lean not on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
and He will make your paths straight."

God has been using the people around me to teach me this:
When I trust my team mates, I'm actually trusting God for placing them as my team mates.
When I trust myself, I'm actually trusting God who first believed in me.
Many failures and criticism accumulated from the past have made me skeptical,
made me doubt my abilities and sometimes others' too.
God has been teaching me not to base things on my own judgement and past experiences,
but to trust in Him and rely on Him, Him who in Him nothing is impossible.
God is teaching me to let go - only when I release the things in my hands, then He can place better and greater things in them.
It's a very frightening and scary thing, because many times I don't know what I will land myself into..
But that's just what God wants me to do:
Never to lean on my understanding, but to trust in Him with all my heart;
Never to doubt the promise God has made, but to take that step of faith in following Him.
And in every step that I take, I shall proclaim to everyone that it is God, the faithful One, who is walking me through this journey of my life.
